JOB SUMMARY: The Corporate Pilot will be responsible for the safe conduct of flights for company employees in accordance with federal, state, and international regulations in addition to company policies.  Company’s current airplane inventory includes:  Piper Non-Turbine Malibu (Garmin 530) and a Piper Twin Seneca (Garmin 530)

The Account Executive has responsibility to discover opportunities, maintain company and contact data base, and provide appropriate solutions to the customers.

RESPONSIBLITIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
CORPORATE PILOT

  • Responsible for the safe operation of assigned flights
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and foreign regulations in addition to company policies
  • Conduct all phrases of preflight planning, weather evaluation, post-flight duties and any decisions required for the safe-conduct of assigned flights
  • Successfully complete initial and regular training or proficiency in accordance with federal regulations, insurance requirements and company policies
  • Take an active role in travel coordination and scheduling, ensuring compliance with maintenance requirements and paperwork as required
  • Oversee maintenance scheduling of aircrafts
  • Must accept flexible work schedules including occasional overnights and weekends

JOB REQUIREMENTS & STANDARDS:

  • Ability to fly into all ranges of airports and airspace 
  • Comfort on the radios in Class B is a must
  • Twin engine, retractable gear, and high performance flight time experience
  • Pressurized cabin experience with twin-engine IFR rating, and commercially certified desired
  • Minimum of 750 hours total time required.  This position can expect 250 to 350 hours of flight time per year.  Job will require ability to successfully pass Piper Malibu flight training upon receiving acceptable levels of dual time, as required by insurance company. Costs associated with Malibu check out will require employment commitment for a minimum of two years, or a paycheck of prorated training expenses

RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

  • Contact and meet regularly with current and prospective customers to develop and embrace the relationship
  • Travel required 25 – 50% of time
  • Enter, review and keep up to date company and contact information
  • Prepare lists of prospective customers and research current market information
  • Understand and review drawings, 3D models and bills of material for quoting projects
  • Prepare estimates in excel for each opportunity to meet the specific needs of customer
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing departments to get accurate data on quotes and after project won, pass on pertinent information
  • Confer and consult with department leads on customer required specifications
  • Prepare exhibitor list, attend and represent company at trade shows
  • Report weekly open opportunities, proposals and issues that are preventing a sale
  • Achieve and maintain proficiency in manufacturing and engineering terminology

JOB REQUIREMENTS & STANDARDS:

  • Ability to:  read and interpret documents; write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • Microsoft Office – outlook, excel, word, PowerPoint, Microsoft project
  • Technologically advanced on smart devices
  • Knowledge of machinery, equipment, material

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Bachelor Degree
  • 2+ years experience

OR

  • Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
